Why our colour masterbatch

Colour is the first thing your customer sees. These are the four things we make sure of in every bag we ship.

  1. 01

    Matched to your reference

Send us a masterbatch sample, a moulded part, a photo of your product or a Pantone / RAL code. Our lab develops the shade on your polymer and for your process, so what you approve on the trial is what you get on the line. Trial samples are usually ready in 2 days.

  2. 02

    Even dispersion

Pigments are fully wetted and spread evenly through the carrier, so the colour mixes cleanly into your resin. No streaks, specks or gels in film and fibre, no filter clogging on the line, and the same depth of colour across every moulded part.

  3. 03

    Same shade, every batch

Every batch is checked in our lab against your approved standard before it ships. Your next order matches your first, so you don't have to re-adjust dosage or reject parts each time a new lot arrives.

  4. 04

    Heat and light stable

We make indoor and outdoor grades, with pigments chosen for your processing temperature and end use. Shades hold through high-temperature processing such as PET and Nylon, and outdoor grades resist fading in sunlight for shade nets, agri film and outdoor products.

Frequently asked questions

Can you match my existing supplier's shade?

Yes. Send us a masterbatch sample, a moulded part, a photo of your product or a Pantone / RAL code, and our lab matches it on your polymer and process.

What dosage should I use?

Typically 0.5% to 2% for injection moulding, and up to 8% for some film applications. It depends on the shade, the polymer and the part thickness, so we confirm the exact dosage with your trial sample.

Is your colour masterbatch food-contact compliant?

We offer FDA food-contact compliant grades for selected products, and REACH and RoHS compliant grades for the applications that need them. Tell us your end use and we'll recommend the right grade.

What is the minimum order?

There is no minimum order for standard shades. Custom colour-matched shades start at 50 kg.

How long does a colour match take?

Usually 2 days. Shades from the 3D Catalog are faster still, as they are already developed.

Which polymers can you colour?

PE, PP, EVA, PET, ABS, PC, Nylon (PA), GPPS, HIPS, PBT, PMMA, POM, PLA and PBAT.
